HELP WITH COLORING PLEASE !

I`ve manage to carve some decent rocks for deco purposses, but time for acrylic water painting has come and find myself in trouble, lol. I do have a good painting basic background, nonetheless coloring separate rocks that are so close, like the ones showing on main page made by Nathan seems a titanic work. Even though I`m after a few different colors and tones for the column stones, spraying neighboring ones with wrong color to then go over, and over to repaint seems a foreever lasting …

I need to make a sample board, more precisely a worn, weathered one. An actual old piece of wood shall help, but tips and advise are very useful. Thought about making a few texture rollers since I lived far from US, and by the time I order and receive shipment oportunity may be gone, at least to make the sample for a client. Coloring the foix bois is of no concern Any tutorial reference on this, tips of any sort? Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nelson. Pools need a skimer ay water line to accept leaves and other debrie and a main drain at botttom for circulation. There should be 2 or more return line also for circulation[depending onn the size of pool]. Spas usually have a skimmer and 2 drain in bottom or 1 in side wall to eliminate suction entrapment. The number of returns depend on the size of the pumps and the amount of action you want. The returns could be any where from 3 to 8 or possibly more depending on your pump system.
The question was directed to Don Yeager, but Don Hansen, buddy I truly appreciate your answering, as obvious/stupid as my question may have appeared. I`ve learned a bit about skimmers, vacuum cleaning ports and all that... Thanks really, more of this needed in the forum, unfortunately not all of us here are pros so that`s where curiosity and dumb questions may pop up. lol
There are no dumb questions except for the ones not asked. I know quite a bit about all kinds of cement and concrete work as I have been doing this for 53 years. I also do not know a lot about this type of work but have had a lot of info from others that do.I am always happy to pass on what I do know and hope I can help others.
