Just a quick note to everyone. We finally have supply of the new Tru Pac version, version X. This was actually one of our original mix designs prior to the current Tru Pac V. We brought it back to life with the growing popularity of thin vertical applications and customer requests. Most vertical mixes, Trupac V included do not like thin applications, especially when warm weather hovers. Once you get 1/2 inch and under, they are susceptible to more shrinkage cracks due to the quick water…

I wanted to get thet ball rolling on this, because I just feel so greatful to have this source to learn, grow, and get motivated and inspired to work in this wonderful craft. For a little over two years this site has been a daily pilgrimage for me, and along the way, many of you have made your mark on my mind, and inspired many projects to come. I wanted to thank everyone as a group, but also try and give specific thanks to many as well, at the risk of forgetting some along the way. My…

Too bad one of the artisans here couldn't have gotten this job. It could have been so much more. Oh well, it's still pretty cool, and may inspire something in those of you who check it out. It's a home in Aspen, CO called the Magic Mushroom House, and can be seen here:…

I thought I'd post a PPS of some photos of the Naica Crystal Cave in Chihuahua Mexico for your enjoyment and reference. Replicating this environment will require a different vertical formula altogether. All rock-heads should find this very interesting. Enjoy!

Alright, so I know people are busy so I will talk fast. Jeff, a young, recently married, and a father to be found out he had brain cancer. My wife and I got on board to help fund raise and coordinate event (not really my thing but I try). I was trying to figure out what I could donate to help raise a little money and I was thinking along the lines of overlaying a garage floor. Then I thought it would be cool to maybe carve a wall in there too. It was fall and we did not want to have…

I will inform following matter which could be a problem time to time with 5 hp compressor.
Recommendation is to use about 5 hp compressor with mortar sprayer but this compressor need usually
3 phase power and this is not a available everywhere.
My solution is to use two 3 hp compressor and split a hose from both compressor to one hose and
you don't have any problem with air pressure.
Perhaps someone is noticed this earlier but it is good solution.

I've made roller and trowel texturizers from packing peanuts, pearlite, and texture skins which I also made from silicone. I've ground down pool trowels to the size I think would work well, made wedges, and scratch coat scratchers. Ordered some foo-foo from Walttools. Picked up a drill type hand held mixer.
I finally started my practice board and this stuff is fun! I've got lots more practicing to do before I start my planned projects at home, but with Nathan's video…

I've been looking through the free videos and I've seen amazing stuff ! I would really like to learn how to do this myself. Before getting too exited, I'd like to know a few things about the process and subscription for the training videos.
Do all wall-cladding projects seen the the free section require admixtures or other materials not readily available, or can I make do with Home Depot materials? Shipping to Montreal, Canada from US suppliers is a killer ($).
I have Keith…
